About GeoTrust DV Flex Wildcard
GeoTrust DV Flex certicates powered by DigiCert, replaces the previous QuickSSL Premium certificates and it is as the name suggest a highly flexible product able to contain a combination of 250 fully qualified domain names (FQDN) and wildcard domain names (*.domain).
The certificate is easily validated on each domain contained in the certificate, thru the usual e-mail approvers, a DNS TXT record or a HTTP/HTTPS specially formed file location. We highly recommend using e-mail validation and if not available to use DNS TXT record validation.
For this wildcard product, the Common Name must be a wildcard (*.domain..) and it will automatically add a free DNS name for just the "domain.." part, without the "*.".
Reissue schedule
