GlobalSign CodeSign EV
About GlobalSign CodeSign EV
Secure your software with GlobalSign CodeSign Extended Validation. As a software developer or distributor, you can digitally sign your code, ensuring its security, identity, and integrity.
All Microsoft Windows drivers including kernel- and user-mode drivers must be submitted and signed through Windows Hardware Developer Center Dashboard Portal (WHDCDP) to be valid. WHDCDP only accepts drivers signed with an EV Code Signing certificate, such as this certificate.
The certificate price includes one USB crypto dongle, which serves the purpose of securing the certificate during installation. The USB crypto dongle or an HSM unit is required for issuing the certificate and provides protection against unauthorized copying. The standard delivery time for the USB crypto dongle is 7-14 days. Please feel free to reach out to us if expedited delivery is required.
